Accidental Shed Fire Causes Thousands Of Dollars In Damage For Maryland Homeowner An accidental shed fire in Maryland caused thousands of dollars worth of damage for a Cecil County homeowner, according to the state fire marshal. A structure fire was reported shortly after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5 in the unit block of Colonial Way in Rising Sun, when smoke was found coming from the inside of a shed in the yard of an area home. Six firefighters from the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun responded to the property, and were able to extinguish the fire within minutes, though the shed sustained extensive damage to both the interior and exterior of the structure.
