100+ Displaced In Bowie Nursing Home Fire More than 100 residents were displaced after an alleged explosion at a nursing home in Bowie, authorities say. Initial reports of an explosion at the facility on the 15000 block of Health Center Drive came in at 3:42 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, according to the Prince George's Fire Department.  All 112 residents of the facility were transferred to neighboring facilities with the assistance of several area partners.
