PA Man ID'd In MD Crash 'Natural Born Leader' Aspiring To Join NFL An aspiring NFL player and college student has died following a crash in Maryland, according to his family.  Daniel Elisha Worthy of Waynesboro died following a single-vehicle crash in the 500 block of Dual Highway on Wednesday night.  Hagerstown police were called to a crash in the eastbound lanes around 9:45 p.m. on June 21, 2023, according to a release sent to Daily Voice the following week.  Upon arrival, officers found a 2007 BMW sedan that had left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree. Support Swells For Family Of Popular Swimmer Killed In One-Car MD Crash A community is in mourning after a popular teen was killed overnight in a one-car crash in Montgomery County. Germantown resident Samuel Isaac Castañeda, 19, crashed shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, while he was driving on Clopper Road between Waring Station Road and Game Preserve Road, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police. For unknown reason, officials say that Castañeda was driving a Honda CR-V north on Clipper Road when he lost control, left the roadway, and struck a utility pole. Castañeda, the only person in the Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene. …
