The firefighter who was taken to the hospital with a leg injury while battling a Maryland blaze over the weekend has been released and is recovering at home, responders have announced. The fire broke out at a home on the 1200 block of Long Corner Road in Mt. Airy around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 17, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services said. Family Displaced After Blaze Breaks Out In Maryland Kitchen: Fire Marshal
A fast-moving kitchen fire in Maryland caused approximately $150,000 in damage before dozens of firefighters were able to knock down the flames and get the blaze under control. Shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 20, in Cecil County, a fire was reported at a two-story, single-family home on Doctor Jack Road in Port Deposit, the Maryland office of the State Fire Marshal announced.
