Flood Watches Issued As New Round Of Storms Set To Hit DMV Region The DMV Region may be in for another round of rough weather on Tuesday afternoon. Forecasters say that there is a "Level 2" risk of severe weather on Tuesday, Aug. 15, which could bring isolated tornadoes, large hail, and potentially damaging winds, and flooding throughout the area.  The bulk of the bad weather is expected along the I-95 corridor and east, toward parts of Maryland, according to the National Weather Service. Covid-19: This Maryland County School District Reinstated Mask Policy Before Start Of The Year Students and staff members preparing to return to the classroom in Prince George's County will be required to mask up as the district contends with the latest wave of new COVID-19 cases. District officials announced on Friday, Aug. 12 that they are updating the mask requirements in all schools and facilities “until further notice,” beginning as of Monday, Aug. 15 following a recommendation from the Prince George’s County Health Department.
