Shortly before 1:45 a.m. on Saturday night, officers were called to investigate a shooting in the 8000 block of Admiralty Place, where there were three minors, one of whom had been shot and had to be taken to Shock Trauma for treatment. Teen Accidentally Shot Near Maryland High School, Police Say A teen was shot overnight near Towson High School in Baltimore County when a gun went off, police confirmed. At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday night, Baltimore County Police officers were called to an area hospital, when a 16-year-old walked in suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. Investigators say that it was later determined that the shooting happened in the unit block of Cedar Avenue, not far from the school. The boy was allegedly playing with the loaded handgun when it accidentally discharged, striking and killing Nykayla Strawder, 15, in the 600 block of Linnard Street on Saturday, Aug. 6, according to Baltimore police.
