Firefighters found flames shooting out of the roof of the home around 4:15 p.m. on Castletown Court Saturday, Dec. 31, the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Company  The homeowner left a pan of oil heating on the stove unattended before the blaze broke out, the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office said in a release.  The smoke detector went off and the man suffered burns to his wrist trying to put out the fire.
