Police have released the identity of the woman killed in an SUV crash that left five others injured in Prince George’s County over the weekend. Parbati Sharma, 45, of Herndon, Virginia, was in the passenger’s seat of a Toyota SUV that collided with a Jeep SUV near Laurel Bowie Road and Mallard Drive around 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, the PGPD said. Sharma was taken to a hospital with serious injuries and pronounced dead a short time later. Man Killed In Tractor-Trailer Crash In MD
A driver was killed early on Friday morning when he struck a tractor-trailer and caromed off the road in Prince George's County, police say. The crash was reported at approximately 3:50 a.m. on Friday, May 12 in the 6300 block of Oxon Hill Road. Officials say that one man - who has not been identified by police - was treated and rushed to an area hospital with life threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead, according to police. A woman is dead after crashing into a utility pole on an infamously dangerous road in Prince George's County, authorities say. The woman reportedly crashed into the pole after losing control of her vehicle while driving south on Indian Head Highway near Berry Road, around 2 a.m., Friday, Dec. 23, according to Prince George's County Police. A 70-year-old Maryland man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Pennsylvania during the snowstorm on Tuesday, Nov. 15, authorities say. Jeff Shook was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox along Route 96, also known as Hyndman Road, in Londonderry Township when he lost control of the vehicle, Pennsylvania state police say. Police ID Passenger Killed In Maryland After Driver Struck Multiple Vehicles
Police have identified the Oxon Hill man killed in a District Heights crash earlier this month, authorities say. Corey Forrest, 48, was a passenger in the vehicle that crashed in a parking lot on Pennsylvania Avenue near Brooks Drive, on the night of Friday, July 15, according to Prince George's County police.
