Girl, 8, Dies After Being Found In Baltimore Basement With Gunshot Wound To Chest An 8-year-old girl who was found in the basement of a Towson home in Baltimore County with critical injuries died after being shot, authorities announced. Officers from the Baltimore County Towson Precinct responded to the 6300 block of Sherwood Road shortly before 9: 30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3, where there was a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers found an 8-year-old shooting victim in the basement of the home.
