Suspicious Death Investigation Launched After Body Pulled From MD Apartment Police in Prince George’s County have launched a death investigation after a body was found inside a burning apartment unit on Wednesday afternoon. First responders in Hyattsville were called at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, to the 6100 block of 42nd Avenue, where there was a reported apartment fire with one victim found inside, according to police. Detectives confirmed that there was trauma to the body, and the Prince George’s County Police Department was called in to assist with the investigation.
