Winning $50,000 'Powerball' Ticket Sold At Baltimore County Liquor Store

There were no Powerball jackpot winners for Wednesday's drawing, but one lucky lotto player in Maryland is sitting on a golden ticket worth $50,000.

A third-tier winning ticket worth five figures was sold in Baltimore County at Chase Plaza Liquors, which is located in the 12500 block of Eastern River Avenue in Middle River, though it remains unclaimed a day later.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, March 27 drawing were: 37-46-57-60-66 with a Powerball of 8.

In Maryland, Lottery officials said there were 33,193 winners in Maryland of prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000. Since no one hit the Powerball jackpot, it rose to an estimated $935 million, marking the fifth-largest prize in the game's history.

So far this year, the state has sold three $1 million second-tier winning Powerball tickets, 12 third-tier winning tickets worth $50,000 to $100,000 and two $50,000-winning Double Play tickets

There have been three Powerball jackpots hit in Maryland: $731.1 million in January 2021 in Lonaconing (Allegany County); $128.8 million in December 2011 in Elkton (Cecil County); and $108.8 million in September 2011 in Abingdon (Harford County).
