Residents Displaced In 2-Alarm Baltimore Apartment Blaze Residents were displaced but unharmed when a two-alarm fire broke out at a Baltimore apartment building Wednesday, Feb. 28. The Baltimore County Fire Department quickly doused the heavy flames at a building on the 6700 block of Bonnie Ridge Drive. No injuries were reported. Hiker Rescued By Maryland State Police Helicopter After Plummeting 40 Feet Off Cliff A hiker who fell off a cliff in Frederick County suffered serious injuries before being rescued by a Maryland State Police helicopter and airlifted to the hospital. Bedshe International said it issued the recall for Bedsure Electric Heating Blankets and Pads Due because the controller can malfunction, posing fire and thermal burn hazards.
