Former MD Park Service Manager Guilty Of Sex Offense; Cleared Of Rape Charges A split verdict was reached in the trial of a former manager for the Maryland Park Service who was accused of sexual abuse late last year. Michael Browning, 72, was found guilty of a single misdemeanor fourth-degree sex offense, though he was found not guilty of several other charges, including felony rape.
