Teen Boy Fatally Shot In Head, 2nd Victim Survives In Baltimore A 16-year-old boy died after being shot in the head and a 42-year-old man was shot in his lower back in what police believe was the same incident Wednesday evening, April 19 in Baltimore. The incident happened just before 9 p.m. on the 1900 block of Grinnalds Avenue. Responders attempted life-savings measures, but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene. While on scene, homicide detectives were notified of a second victim at an area hospital. The victim was suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower right back. The investigation remains ongoing.

20-Year-Old Maryland Man Charged With Trying To Murder 42-Year-Old: Police A 20-year-old Maryland man has been charged with trying to murder a 42-year-old man, authorities said.  Gerald Mceachern was is being held without bail after being formally charged with attempted first degree murder on Wednesday, March 16, Baltimore City Police said.  Police responded to reported shooting in the 500 block of Dolphin Street just before 2 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, police said.  Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified 42-year-old man had been shot in the thigh.
