Two separate physical altercations broke out at the school involving several students on Jan. 26 at around 11:30 a.m., school principal Craig Reed said in the letter.  A school resource officer had to intervene and discharged pepper spray.

Baltimore County police were called to the school to provide additional assistance. The school nurse and paramedics evaluated the students impacted by the pepper spray. One student was taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Reed maintained that fighting in school will not be tolerated.
