Man Charged With Attempted Murder Near Baltimore Church: Police

A suspect has been charged with the attempted murder of a 32-year-old man near a Baltimore church earlier this month.

Marrico Bell, 43, of Baltimore, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder on Friday, Feb. 9, Baltimore Police announced Wednesday.

Bell is accused of shooting the man during a dispute near the 1500 block of Carswell Street on Saturday, Feb. 3.

The victim arrived at a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound shortly before 5:45 p.m.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2433.
