Western District officers responded to the two-vehicle crash near the 1800 block of Edmondson Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22.
Multiple victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, among them a 37-year-old SUV driver who was later pronounced dead.
The investigation is being led by Crash Team detectives.
