Tractor-Trailer Crash Blocks Traffic On I-495

A tractor-trailer collided with an SUV and blocked several lanes on I-495 Tuesday afternoon, March 12.

The crash occurred on the I-495 Beltway prior to River Road near Exit 40 around 12:40 p.m., MCFRS Spokesperson Pete Piringer said.

Two left lanes and the left shoulder were initially closed as crews responded. The two left lanes reopened a short time later.
