More than a year after 19-year-old Justice T'Ziyan Elliott was shot and killed on a Metro Bus in Montgomery County, police say that they have apprehended a suspect. A pedestrian died by suicide in a train strike Sunday evening, April 14 in Bethesda, WMATA officials said. The unidentified man walked beyond the end gate a the North Bethesda station and intentionally placed himself in the path of the train at approximately 8 p.m., a spokesperson for the agency said. Emergency personnel responded, however, there were no signs of life and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Nearly 115 Red Line passengers were relocated after a person was fatally struck by a train Tuesday, June 20 in Washington DC. A man was fatally struck by a Green Line train at the Anacostia Station on Sunday, Dec. 11, a FOX5 report says citing the WMATA. Officials say that a person was critically injured by an electric shock while on top of a train at Union Station early on Friday morning in Washington, DC.
