Motorcyclist Killed After Going Off Road, Striking Telephone Pole, Maryland State Police Say A 50-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle overnight in Harford County, according to Maryland State Police. Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on May 12, Maryland State Police troopers were called to the 2600 block of Whiteford Road, where it was determined Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania resident Jason Birley was riding a Honda motorcycle when he went off the roadway and struck a telephone pole. The Harford County Department of Health issued an alert on Thursday cautioning that state health officials confirmed that a cat found in the Dublin area of Harford County has tested positive for rabies.
