The driver of a truck that struck and killed a Maryland man in Southeast DC may have known the victim, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Temple Hills resident Torre Desmond Gray, Sr., 37, has been identified by the agency as the person who was struck and killed by a pick-up truck driver on Saturday morning who initially fled the scene but thought better and later contacted police. The truck driver arrested in connection to the 2006 murder of a woman found near a Frederick County rest stop may have been a serial killer, state police are cautioning. Maryland State Police investigators are seeking possible leads regarding White Springs, Florida resident Garry Artman, 64, who was on the run for nearly 20 years before being apprehended in September 2022 for his role in the murder of Dusty Shuck.
