A woman was airlifted to a nearby hospital after an afternoon crash in Anne Arundel County on Thursday, Feb. 16, police said. It happened at the intersection of Magothy Bridge Road at Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Pasadena around 1:15 p.m., Anne Arundel County Police said. A driver was killed after failing to negotiate a tricky turn in Anne Arundel County on Monday morning, police say. Officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department were called at around 1:40 a.m. on Feb. 5 to investigate a reported single-vehicle crash on Brock Bridge Road south of River Bridge Way in Laurel. According to officials, Duke Kepha Mwebi was driving a 2021 Mercedes GLC300 north along on Brock Ridge Road when he lost control and went off the right side of the roadway and into a tree. A teen driver was caught after leaving a 4-year-old girl with critical injuries during a hit-and-run in Maryland, police said. The crash occurred on the 300 block of Arden Road West around 3:50 p.m. on Monday afternoon, Jan. 29, Anne Arundel County Police said. Investigators believe the child, of Brooklyn, Maryland, ran into the roadway and was struck by a 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan driven by a 17-year-old male heading eastbound on Arden Road W. One person died and another was airlifted in a multi-vehicle crash involving a dump truck in Anne Arundel County Thursday, Feb. 23, authorities said. A Kenworth dump truck was heading north on Solomons Island Road when a Dodge pick-up truck attempted to turn onto the roadway from Birdsville Road, county police said. 20-Year-Old Driver Dead In Anne Arundel Crash
A 20-year-old driver was killed in an early-morning crash Monday, Jan. 16, authorities said. The unnamed driver was heading south on Crain Highway in a 2015 Honda Accord Sport when he lost control and struck a utility pole around 5:30 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Church Road in Odenton, county police said. The driver, of Owings Mills, was pronounced dead at the scene by Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel. This crash is under investigation by the Traffic Safety Section.

A 23-year-old man was dead and three are injured after a violent crash in Glen Burnie, authorities say. Jason Tyler Crawford was heading west on Route 100 in a Honda Accord EX when he lost control near the I-97 overpass and struck a concrete barrier around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, Anne Arundel County police said. A 2005 Toyota Corolla then swerved to avoid the Honda and struck a concrete barrier on the opposite side of the roadway. An elderly Maryland man is dead after a horrific crash in Lothian earlier this week, authorities announce. Ronald Wayne Talbert, 78, was killed in the crash that happened shortly after 4 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5 on Route 4 at Lower Pindell Road, according to Anne Arundel County police. Investigation revelaed that Vernon Frederick Colfack, 54, was driving south on Route 4 when he struck the vehicle driven by Talbert as Talbert was attempted to cross Route 4 onto Lower Pindell Road. The dump truck driver killed in a crash on Aris T. Allen Boulevard Monday, May 2 was identified as a 63-year-old Glen Burnie man. Cleve Tyrone Maynard was heading east when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a bridge retaining wall just before 1 p.m., Anne Arundel County Police said. A 46-year-old motorcyclist from Glen Burnie died in a Pasadena crash on Saturday, April 2. Donterio Montre Brown was merging into the right lane on Route 100 east on his Kawasaki Ninja while a Nissan Altima driver was merging into the left lane from the right lane around 12:45 p.m., Anne Arundel County police said.
