Police ID Man Who Died After Being Taken Into Custody In Baltimore County The Maryland Attorney General's Office has identified the man killed and officers involved in a fatal incident in Baltimore County after he was taken into custody by police. Suspect Apprehended Following Fatal Stabbing Near Downtown Baltimore Apartment: Reports A man was stabbed to death inside of a residence in downtown Baltimore, according to multiple reports. Officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the 600 block of W. Lexington Street where they found the victim around 6:07 p.m., Thursday, July 28, the reports state.   The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the suspect and suspected weapon were also found at the scene and taken into custody, the outlets continue. Amber Alert Canceled For 9-Year-Old Maryland Girl Missing From Carroll County (Update) An amber alert was canceled after a missing 9-year-old Maryland girl from Carroll County was found in Baltimore County.  Savannah Heaton was with her aunt in Westminster when she was abducted by her 33-year-old sister, Magen Wallen on Tuesday, May 10, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (MCMEC).  Savannah was found safe and unharmed while Wallen was taken into police custody.

Virginia Man Shot, Injured At Motel 6 In Prince William County: Police One man is in the hospital and a suspect is in police custody following a shooting at a motel in Prince William County, authorities said.  Police responded to the shooting at the Motel 6 in Dumfries around 8 p.m. on Monday, May 9, Prince William County Police said on Twitter.   Upon arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said.  A suspect was also taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing but police believe this was an isolated incident.

Delaware Man Who Died While In Custody Of Maryland State Police Identified A Delaware man who died while in custody of the Maryland State Police has been identified, according to officials. Amar Womack, 64, died while in police custody in Centreville after he was arrested during a traffic stop for suspicion of possessing a controlled substance on Jan. 21, the Office of the Maryland Attorney General said.   Womack was in a holding cell and began "exhibiting signs of distress and became unresponsive," two hours after he was placed there, according to police.  He was then taken to a nearby hospital where he died shortly after.
