Prince George's County police were called to the 7900 block of New Hampshire Avenue around 8 p.m., Thursday, April 6 after reports of a crash involving a pedestrian. Medics arrived and rushed the pedestrian to a nearby hospital where they later died. Investigators say that the striking vehicle is a white cargo van that could have damage to the right side mirror. Police are working to identify the suspect and notify their family.
