Mysterious Booms Rattle South Jersey Again The Navy is investigating whether aircraft carrier training in Maryland caused mysterious noises in South Jersey, NJ Advance Media reports. Monday's loud booms and rattling windows marked the second major disturbance in two weeks.  On Nov. 22, residents of Brigantine were abuzz about what sounded like an explosion, as Daily Voice reported. The source of that noise was never identified. Drunken Brawl At Maryland Condo Leads To Assault Charges For Central Jersey Cops: Report Two brothers and police officers in Woodbridge are facing assault charges following a drunken fight in an Ocean City, Maryland, condominium, NJ Advance Media reported. Jacob D. Manente, 24, and Zachary L. DUI Driver Charged In Crash That Killed Former Annapolis Mom: Report A 30-year-old man from South Jersey has been charged with drunk driving in connection with a December crash that killed a beloved mom of four, NJ Advance Media reported. Stephen M. Karwowski, of Elmer was driving a pickup in Pennsville on Dec. 4, 2021, when he struck a car driven by Genita Townsend, 52, the outlet said. Townsend, of Pennsville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the five-vehicle crash.  An investigation found that Karwowski’s blood-alcohol level was above the legal limit, and he apparently admitted to driving 60 to 65 mph before the crash in an area where the spe…
