A 49-year-old home healthcare worker that failed to check in on his patient, who was found injured after jumping out of a Frederick County apartment building will spend time behind bars, the state's attorney's office announced. The father of a 6-year-old boy in Washington County has been arrested after his son died and was found malnourished and suffering from starvation, police say. Andre Derek Ford, 31, has been arrested on multiple child abuse charges after allegedly neglecting his 6-year-old son and a second child who had to be removed from their Hagerstown home.
