Maryland Man Dies After Being Shot During DC Armed Robbery, Police Say What started as a probe into an armed robbery in Northwest DC has turned into a homicide investigation, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Shortly before 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, two suspects took out a pair of handguns and walked into a business in the 5100 block of Georgia Avenue NW demanding money and property, to which the victims complied.
