Three Shot Leaving Prince George's County Funeral While Riding In Van, Police Say (Developing) A day of mourning turned tragic for a family after a shooting outside a Maryland cemetery on Friday afternoon. Officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called to a stretch of Sheriff Road in Landover at around 2 p.m. on Friday, not far from the National Harmony Memorial Park cemetery.  Police say that three adults were shot while driving in a van that was leaving a funeral. They were all treated and evaluated for injuries considered not to be life-threatening. The search for the shooting suspect is ongoing. While officers canvas the area, Sheriff Road is closed …

Maryland Man, 20, Charged With 2021 Landover Homicide: Police A District Heights man has been arrested and charged with gunning down a DC man in Landover in 2021, authorities said.  Charlie Stevenson, 20, was arrested and charged with the first-degree murder of Anthony Forest, 34, Prince George's County Police said. He is currently being held without bail.  Police responded for a reported shooting in the 1900 block of Belle Haven Drive around 5:40 p.m. on October 22, 2021, police said.  Upon arrival, officers found Forest suffering from gunshot wounds in a parking lot. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died, police said.&…
