Man, Woman Indicted For Separate Fatal Maryland Crashes Two drivers involved in separate fatal crashes in Montgomery County have been indicted, authorities say. Robert Worrell, 75, was indicted on felony hit and run charges Thursday, July 28, after allegedly hitting Robert Lawrence, 64, the morning of Friday, Aug. 11, 2020, in the 4100 block of Bel Pre Road in Silver Spring.  Lawrence died in a nearby hospital three days after the collision.  Investigators say that Worrell failed to stop and remain at the scene of the collision or attempt to render reasonable aid or report the collision to police. Rewards Of Up To $10,000 For Info Regarding Armed Carjacking At Gas Station Authorities are offering rewards of up to $10,000 for information that could lead them to identify and arrest a suspect involved in an armed carjacking that occurred last week. Officers were called to the Citgo gas station on Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring just after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 2, Montgomery County Police said. The victim of the carjacking told police his car was stolen while he left the car unlocked and running to go inside and buy some food.
