Police responded to a home in the 200 block of Rupert Circle for a home invasion around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 21, Anne Arundel County Police said.

Upon arrival, officers learned Diana Bruce, 30, had poured motor oil on the front steps of the home and tried to light it on fire, police said.

Apparently, the juveniles inside the home were involved in prior assault and Bruce was responding because of said assault, according to police.

She then broke into the home and was pepper-sprayed by the people inside. After fleeing the scene, police located, arrested and charged Bruce accordingly.
