Baltimore Man Driving On Suspended License Arrested After Vehicle Search

A Baltimore man driving on a suspended license was arrested after officers found a large quantity of suspected drugs in his vehicle during a traffic stop in Hanover, authorities say.

Tavon Sprye Sr., 39, was pulled over for registration and moving violations in the area of Coca-Cola Drive and MD Route 100 East on Friday, July 29, around 10:30 p.m., according to Anne Arundel County police. 

Officers searched the vehicle and recovered around 89 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 13 grams of suspected heroin, 9 grams of suspected marijuana, and 3 grams of suboxone. 

Sprye was taken into custody and charged accordingly, officials said.
