Woman On Way To Post Office Violently Carjacked In CT With Gun To Her Head By 3 Men, Police Say A Connecticut woman on her way to the post office was violently carjacked when the suspect's bumped her car from behind.  The incident took place in Hartford County around 10 p.m., Thursday, July 13, in Windsor Locks. According to Lt. Paul Cherniack of the Windsor Locks Police, the victim was on her way to the post office in her 2020 Infinity QX80 at the intersection of Route 75 and Schoephoester Road when she was bumped from behind by possibly a blue Acura sedan. Know Him? Man Wanted By CT State Police For Escape On The Run A Connecticut man wanted by state police for escape managed to evade police during a pursuit after he was found staying at an area hotel. The incident took place in Hartford County in Windsor Locks on Tuesday, May 30. According to Lt. CT Woman Assaulted In Surprise Attack By Homeless Man, Police Say A woman was allegedly seriously assaulted while taking a morning exercise walk by a homeless man. The incident took place in Hartford County around 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 6 in Windsor Locks. CT Burglary Suspect Caught After Fleeing At High Rate Of Speed, Police Say Police apprehended a Massachusetts man wanted for burglarizing an occupied Connecticut home before fleeing at a high rate of speed. Michael Mesick, age 31, of Feeding Hills, Massachusetts, in Hampden County, was arrested around noon Monday, June 14, after the homeowner interrupted an active burglary in his home in Windsor Locks. After being caught in the home, and as Windsor Locks police converged on the area, Mesick fled, traveling at a high rate of speed making it impossible for a pursuit, said the Windsor Locks Police. CT Duo Nabbed For Rash Of Thefts Of Tires, Rims, Police Say Two Connecticut men have been nabbed for an alleged series of thefts of tires and rims from vehicles through the Hartford County area. Most of the incidents involved a Toyota Highlander as the suspect vehicle. The last incident occurred In Windsor Locks in Hartford County, on Thursday, March 25, said the Windsor Locks Police.
