A Charlestown man who tried to buy car parts from a Westborough car dealership this week with fake checks would have been better off just paying cash, authorities said.
Aquiles Bernabe faces charges of forging a check, uttering a false check, identity fraud, possession of a skimming device, forged RRMV document, and possession of Class A and a Class B drug, Westborough police said.

Central Mass Senior Citizen Is Charged With Murdering Wife
From his hospital bed, an 83-year-old Westborough man was recently arraigned on charges stemming from his wife’s death.
The man’s wife, Saharbanoo Rinadani, 76, was found dead in a Park Village Apartment, 135 Main St., in Westborough on Saturday, March 6, the Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. said.
The husband, Abdal Rindani, 83, of Westborough, was also in the apartment at the time. He was transported to UMass Medical Center, the DA said.
On Friday, March 12, Rindani was arraigned on the charges of attempted murder and strangulation, the DA said.

Keeping with the trend of declining COVID-19 infections, Central Massachusetts has only 2 “red” communities - cities and towns with the highest risk of virus transmission.
On Thursday, March 4, Massachusetts unveiled its latest weekly update on COVID-19 incidents by the municipality.
Red communities in Central Massachusetts for the week of March 4 are:
