Fourth Detainee Who Escaped New Jersey ICE Facility Captured 2,700 Miles Away
The fourth and final detainee who escaped from an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in New Jersey last month was captured Thursday, July 17, in Los Angeles, more than 2,700 miles away, the FBI said.
Andres Felipe Pineda-Mogollon, 25, a Colombian national, escaped from Delaney Hall in Newark following a riot on June 12, as previously reported by Daily Voice.
The FBI did not release further details about Pineda-Mogollon's escape.

Man Out On Bail With History Of Stalking Busted With Silencer, Drugs In Springfield: Cops
A Springfield man out on bail for heroin and cocaine offenses was arrested again Wednesday, Aug. 10, on drug, robbery, and stalking charges, authorities said.
Paul Vargas, 29, was busted after police recognized his car as one that had been spotted for months in a stalking investigation in Indian Orchard, Springfield police said.
Officers pulled over Vargas's car in the 100 block of Seymour Street just after 6:30 p.m.

Two Western Mass Men Nabbed With Weapons, 'Ghost Gun,' Police Say
Two Western Massachusetts men were arrested for alleged possession of weapons, including a "ghost gun."
The two were busted around 3:45 p.m., Thursday, July 15, in Hampden County, when members of the Springfield Police Department, along with other law enforcement officials, served a warrant at the home of John Cortez.
The warrant was the result of an investigation into illegal firearms, with Cortez, of Springfield, as the target, said Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the Springfield Police.
Also arrested during the search, was 29-year-old Berenice Alvardod, of Springfield, police said.
