Know Them? FBI Renews Call For Help IDing Those Who Unlawfully Entered Capitol During Riot
The FBI is asking the public for help identifying those who unlawfully entered the United States Capitol on Wednesday, Jan. 6. The FBI said it is looking for individuals who are accused of committing a number of crimes, including assaulting law enforcement personnel, destroying property, and more. Former President Donald Trump isn't going to “like" Facebook’s decision to keep him in cyber jail through at least much of 2023. Two members of the far-right Proud Boys group from New York, including a Hudson Valley resident, are the first people involved in the deadly pro-Trump rampage on the United States Capitol to face federal conspiracy charges. Prosecutors say they worked together to obstruct and interfere with law enforcement officers protecting Congress during the final certification of the 2020 presidential election. A Fairfield County man has been charged in connection to the violent assault of a police officer during the deadly pro-Trump Capitol Hill riot on Wednesday, Jan. 6 that was captured on video and shown repeatedly throughout the world. Across the country, the American flag has been lowered as a sign of respect for law enforcement that died during the attack on the Capitol. On Sunday, Jan. 10, Gov. Charlie Baker said the flags are being lowered in accordance with a presidential proclamation. The lowered flags honor United States Capitol Police Officers Brian D.
