A day after a 14-year-old boy opened fire in a Georgia high school killing four people, a 15-year-old in Massachusetts threatened to do the same at a school in Springfield, authorities said. Somerville Man Threatens To Hit Bus Driver With Chock Block For 'Driving Too Slowly'
A 22-year-old Somerville man must have been late to an important meeting because he berated an MBTA bus driver for not going fast enough and threatened them with a heavy wooden block, authorities said. Wakell Steele hopped on the bus at Davis Square around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 15, but pressed the request stop button moments later, Transit Police said. A Connecticut COVID-19 testing site was shut down after a woman allegedly called and threatened to shoot people because of the wait time and bad service. The incident took place in Hartford County around 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, in Bristol. Police have increased security at a Massachusetts school district due to a threatening message that has been circulating on social media in the community. The Pittsfield Police Department, located in Berkshire County, reported that on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 26, a social media message that has circulated in communities across the United States was shared among students in Pittsfield.
