Federal investigators are looking into more than 1.4 million Honda and Acura vehicles after reports that their engines could suddenly fail.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation into 1,410,806 Honda and Acura cars, SUVs, and minivans. The probe was opened on Wednesday, Aug. 20, according to NHTSA documents.

Brake Troubles, Stalling Hazards Spark Recall Of 148K+ Ford Vehicles
Ford is recalling more than 148,000 vehicles across the US after two major defects were linked to increased crash risks, officials said.
The first recall affects 123,611 vehicles, including F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator models from 2017 and 2018, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The pickups and SUVs can leak brake fluid, potentially reducing front-wheel braking.
