Longtime CT Lawyer 'Subject Of Investigation' In Shooting Death Of Man, Police Say
Connecticut State Police have identified a man shot and killed by a longtime attorney in the parking lot of a law office.
Matthew Bromley, age 39, of Torrington, was shot and killed around 4:51 p.m., on Monday, June 7 at the law office of Cramer & Anderson at 46 West St., in the Town of Litchfield, said Connecticut State Police.
The cause of death was determined to be a single gunshot wound to the head, state police said.
The subject of the investigation has been identified as Robert Fisher, a real estate attorney, whose law career spans 40 years and is a partner in the firm.

United States Marshals have arrested a man believed to be responsible for the February shooting death of a Yale grad student in Connecticut.
Qinxuan Pan, age 29, an MIT researcher, was arrested on Friday, May 14, in Montgomery, Alabama, US Marshals said. They did not say where in Montgomery he was found.

A 19-year-old Fairfield County resident was shot in the chest and killed during a get-together of car enthusiasts in the parking lot of an area raceway.
The incident took place around 10:45 p.m., Sunday, April 18, in the parking lot of the RPM Raceway at 600 West Ave., in Stamford, said Stamford Police Lt. Tom Scanlon.

Man Accused Of Shooting Girl In Leg In Western Mass, Police Say
A Western Massachusetts man has been arrested for allegedly shooting a girl in the leg.
Hampden County resident Jose Estrada, age 21, of Agawam, was arrested around 6:55 p.m., Friday, April 9, for the shooting which took place around an hour earlier in the area of Worthington and Armory streets, in Springfield, said Springfield Police spokesman Ryan Walsh.

A man on the run from Virginia police for a shooting incident was recently arrested in Massachusetts.
On Thursday, Feb. 11, Massachusetts State Police, the U.S. Marshals Service, and Haverhill Police located and arrested Hector Javier Bido, 23, while he was staying in a Proctor Street apartment in Haverhill, Massachusetts State Police said.
