Covid-19: University Puts 13,000 Students On Lock-Down Following 'Massive' Frat Party More than 13,000 students will be in self-sequester for the next two weeks following an outbreak of COVID-19 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Covid-19: Springfield Hits 'Pause' On Student Sports Games, Practices Due to health concerns, the Springfield Public School District is putting a “pause” on all athletics events and practices for fall sports.
