The super popular grocery store Wegmans Food Market is building its first store in Connecticut -- in Fairfield County. The store, which will be located in Norwalk, is currently in the planning stages with the city's Planning and Zoning Commission. Wegmans Norwalk will be located on nearly 11 acres of land off Connecticut Avenue, adjacent to route I-95. A United States Food & Drug Administration investigation is ongoing after officials received hundreds of reports of consumers getting sick after eating a lentil-based product. Woman Wanted For Assaulting Officer In New Jersey Snagged In Massachusetts
A Bronx woman wanted in New Jersey for assaulting a police officer was recently arrested in Boston, authorities said. An individual approached officers about a woman who was harassing another commuter, who she also spit on, at South Station around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, MBTA Transit Police said. Officers later learned that the woman, later identified as Pia Weber, was wanted for assaulting a police officer in Hudson County, N.J. Weber was arrested for being a fugitive and taken to TPD's headquarters for booking.

Amid the largest monkeypox outbreak ever in the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released a rundown of cases by state. As of 2 p.m. Friday, July 8, there were a total of 767 confirmed cases in the US. That's a big jump from the 72 cases identified nationally in mid-June. A New Hampshire man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the gruesome death of a New Jersey native in Massachusetts, Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz said.
