Forget about only getting dinner delivered, you can now use Uber Eats and DoorDash to order tools, hardware, and other things you need to complete home projects. The Home Depot has expanded its delivery options by teaming up with DoorDash and Uber Eats, the home improvement chain said in a news release on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Parking in Boston can be tricky, but city leaders say a new partnership could streamline the process of reserving and paying for a spot starting next month. Officials announced the city would upgrade ParkBoston app on Aug. 15 to ParkMobile. Jascha Franklin-Hodge, Boston's chief of streets said in a press release that the new platform will be an upgrade and easier to use. Lottery Winners Can Claim, Collect Prizes From Comfort Of Home Via New App
The Massachusetts State Lottery is making it easier for people to claim their winnings. The Lottery is launching an app this spring that will allow many big winners to claim their prizes and have the winnings deposited directly into their bank accounts, the Lowell Sun reported Tuesday, Nov. 24. Prizes between $601 and $5,000 could be claimed through the app. Convenience stores will continue to process prizes of $600 and under.
