'Mayhem': Central Mass Woman Bit Another's Lip During Worcester Break-In
If you can't beat 'em, bite 'em. That's what police said one Worcester County woman did during a break-in at a home in Worcester earlier this week. Valdirene Da Cruz is charged with mayhem, assault and battery causing serious bodily injury, and breaking and entering during the nighttime to commit a felony, Milford police said. Da Cruz and two men broke into a Milford home around 3 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21. A fight broke out during the incident between Da Cruz and a woman inside the home. Man Ran Illegal Dentist Office In Central Mass Convenience Store Near Police Station: Cops
Police in Worcester County said a 64-year-old man ran an illegal dentistry office in the back room of a convenience. Juan Hermida Munoz, of Milford, was arrested and charged last week with practicing unauthorized dentistry and practicing unauthorized medicine, Milford police said. Investigators said Munoz rented a room in the rear of the Alternativa Convenience Store at 140 Main St., Suite 7, in Milford, where he performed examinations, tooth extractions, anesthetics, and cleanings. Officials ID 31-Year-Old Man Killed In Central Mass Car Crash
Officials in Milford have identified the 31-year-old man killed in an early morning crash on Sunday, Feb. 19. Luis Saeteros Guallpa of Milford died just after 4 a.m. when a car crashed into him as he walked near the back entrance of Wendy's near the intersection of Dilla and Cedar street, authorities said. A woman who identified herself as his cousin on Facebook said the family plans to send Guallpa's body back to his native Ecuador for burial. Two Connecticut residents are facing larceny charges after police said they attempted to steal merchandise worth more than $260 from Marshalls. Pedestrian Killed By Vehicle Driving On Wrong Side Of CT Roadway, Police Say
A Connecticut woman was killed by a vehicle that was traveling on the wrong side of a busy roadway. The crash happened in New Haven County at around 7:20 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 in Milford. The victim was a 60-year-old woman from Milford, according to Milford Police. The woman was walking Herbert Street when a vehicle, traveling north, crossed the centerline and struck her as she walked westbound on the side of the roadway, police said. A Connecticut man died after a single-vehicle crash in the parking lot of a shopping area after hitting a tree. John B. Kane, age 56, of Derby, was killed around 11:49 a.m., Monday, April 26, in the parking lot of the Connecticut Post Mall, in Milford, said the Milford Police Department.
