Elementary Students Can Vote In MassDOT's First 'Name A Snowplow' Contest Calling all Massachusetts elementary schools students! Here is your chance to name a snowplow this winter.  The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is hosting their first annual "Name A Snowplow Contest," MassDOT announced on Monday, Nov. 28.  Students from grades K-8 are encouraged to submit names for 12 state-owned snowplows for the upcoming 2022/2023 winter season, MassDOT said.  The winners, half between Kindergarten and fourth grade and half between fifth and eighth grade, will be chosen by a panel of MassDOT employees.  “The contest is a gre…
