Son Of MBTA Transit Police Chief Charged With Murder Of Lynn Father Of 4
The son of the MTBA's Transit Police Chief is being held without bail after he was charged with shooting a Lynn man to death in Everett last month, the Boston Globe reports. Brian Green, age 35, was arrested in connection with the murder of Jarmahl Sutson, age 38, the Middlesex District Attorney's office reports. Sutson was shot inside a home on Central Avenue in Everett in the early morning hours of July 19, the office reports. Malden Man Wanted For Lewd Acts Caught Red-Handed At Boston Train Station
A Malden man wanted for sexually lewd acts was caught red-handed in Boston this week, authorities said. Police responded for a report of a woman being harassed by an unknown man at South Station's bus terminal around 4 a.m. on Friday, July 8, MBTA Transit Police said. The woman told officers the man, later identified as Cassios Lima, requested that she engage in sexual activity with him for money, police said. Five New Yorkers Among 11 Members Of Heavily Armed Group Involved In I-95 Standoff
Police have identified the heavily armed 10 adults and one juvenile who were apprehended after an hours-long standoff in a wooded area off a busy stretch of Interstate 95 and announced the charges against them. The situation began to unfold in the early morning hours Saturday, July 3 on the stretch of I-95 in Wakefield, Massachusetts, just north of Boston. As a result, I-95 was shut down for several hours.
