$1M Lottery Ticket Sold In Western Mass, 2 $100K Winners Pick Up Payday
Thursday, March 7, was a very lucky day for three Baystaters. One picked up a lottery ticket worth $1 million, while two more collected $100,000 prizes. The million-dollar ticket was sold at the Pride Station at 13 N. Main St. in East Longmeadow. The payday came playing the $20 "100X Cashwood" scratch-off game. Time runs out this week for the winners of two, large Massachusetts State Lottery prizes to claim their rewards. If the winnings aren’t claimed then the money goes back to the Lottery. Proceeds from the lottery count as revenue for the Massachusetts state operating budget. Friday, Jan. 8, is the last day winners can make claims on two large Massachusetts State Lottery game prizes. Lottery Winners Can Claim, Collect Prizes From Comfort Of Home Via New App
The Massachusetts State Lottery is making it easier for people to claim their winnings. The Lottery is launching an app this spring that will allow many big winners to claim their prizes and have the winnings deposited directly into their bank accounts, the Lowell Sun reported Tuesday, Nov. 24. Prizes between $601 and $5,000 could be claimed through the app. Convenience stores will continue to process prizes of $600 and under.
