Sean Kingston, Mom Federally Convicted In $1M Wire Fraud Scheme, Report Says
Rapper Sean Kingston and his mom Janice Turner have been convicted in a million-dollar luxury goods fraud scheme that prosecutors say involved bogus wire transfers, fake bank documents, and a whole lot of bling they never paid for, officials announced.
After more than 3½ hours of deliberation, a Florida jury on Friday, March 28, found Kingston, 34, and Turner, 61, guilty of federal wire fraud, NBC News reports.

Man Nabbed With Weapons In Carry-On Bag At Bradley Airport: Police
A man faces charges after weapons were found in his carry-on bag at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, according to authorities.
Just after 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, Connecticut State Police troopers responded to the airport's TSA Security checkpoint for a report of an individual transporting a possible firearm in their carry-on luggage.
Investigating troopers identified the owner of the carry-on bag as, New London County resident Marvin Leggett, age 41, of Ledyard, and located a pellet gun, two magazines, and a folding knife in the bag, according to state police.&n…
Suspect In Local Casino Shooting Arrested By US Marshal, Police
A man wanted in connection to a shooting at a local casino was recently arrested by police and the U.S. Marshal.
On Thursday, Jan. 7, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force as well as members of the police department in Worcester arrested Barry Jump, 29, of Worcester, in connection with a shooting, about an hour’s drive away, at Foxwoods Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut, police said.
