With the Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus rapidly spreading across the country, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is updating its guidance on wearing masks. As the more transmissible Delta variant becomes the dominant strain of COVID in the US, the CDC is now recommending that fully-vaccinated people wear masks indoors when in areas where there could be “substantial and high” transmission of the virus. 19: Deadline Set For MA Students' Return To In-Class Learning
Soon remote learning won’t be an option: Massachusetts has set deadlines for when students have to return to in-person education. On Tuesday, March 9, the Commissioner of Education Jeffrey C. Riley said that, for elementary school children (grades K-5), hybrid and remote learning models will no longer count toward meeting the required student learning time hours as of April 5.
