Police Involved In 'Death Pool' Are Demoted, Suspended
A police officer who suggested the creation of a “dead pool” for officers to bet on where the first homicide of 2021 would take place has been demoted and suspended without pay. A broader investigation is ongoing, police said, and more officers are facing repercussions. News broke of the death pool over the weekend of Nov. 30.
