Woman Airlifted After I-84 Crash, CT State Police Say A woman was airlifted to an area hospital in critical condition after losing control of her vehicle and rear-ending a vehicle parked on the side of I-84 in Connecticut, state police said. Tolland County resident Aubria Scallon, of Vernon, age 39, was driving east on I-84 when she began to swerve between the shoulder and right lane of the roadway, eventually striking a vehicle parked on the right shoulder near the exit 64-65 off-ramp and exit 65 on-ramp in Vernon. Sharp Drop In Temps Will Be Followed By Rare Halloween Blue Moon, Time To Fall Back After a mixed bag of precipitation winds down, there will be a sharp drop in temperatures leading into the "Fall Back" Halloween weekend. Generally, about 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is expected for parts of the region where there has not been accumulating snow. Snowfall accumulation of between 1 to 3 inches is possible in some spots north of I-84 in New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
