Woman Trapped In Car Hospitalized After Crash In Region A woman was seriously injured during a crash in Western Massachusetts. It happened around 11 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13, in Hampden County, at the intersection of Dwight and Linden streets in Holyoke. According to the Holyoke Fire Department, the car the woman was driving struck several parked cars, causing the woman to become entrapped in the vehicle. Firefighters used hydraulic tools to free her from the car. The woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The extent of her injuries is currently unknown. No one else was injured.
